• Repeat the raising process for the other frames in turn
  • When building,  a small piece of roofing lead is sandwiched under the end of the post timber as it is raised – this is compressed by the weight of the structure and seals the end of the timber against moisture.
  • As you go, brace the frames together with crossed bracing timbers at 45° at each post
  • With the frames raised and braced, you can start to see the house taking shape
  • When building, you will need to carefully check the frame spacing and adjust as necessary
